Fees Policy

RATIONALE:
The centre will ensure that parents are informed of the procedures of fees payable and their obligations of paying fees for their child’s attendance.
PURPOSE:
- Parents will be informed of their obligation to pay their child’s current fees due regularly
- Parents will be informed of the processors for the non-payment of fees due -arrears and debt.
PROCEDURE:
- Fees are paid ONLY by Direct Debit with a $15 set up fee.
- Administrator and/or Centre Manager will discuss a payment plan that suits both parties. Documentation to be completed upon conclusion.
- Fees are charged for the 52 weeks that we are open each year regardless of statutory holidays, absences or illness.
- You will only be charged for your child/rens booked hours and days.
- All fees are GST inclusive and are required to be paid weekly by direct debit and are paid one week in advance.
- Fees are reviewed annually; parents will be notified of changes by giving two weeks’ notice.
- Parent’s maybe eligible for a WINZ Childcare Subsidy. The Centre Administrator will guide you through the process to apply for the subsidy. You must pay at least 50% payment of the full fees until we receive WINZ notification of child subsidy approved or declined.
- If your child is 3 years and over, they are entitled to 20 ECE Hours, and must complete an Attestation form or Attestation section on the Enrolment Form.
- Fee Statements will be given to parents monthly or on request. Overdue fees statements will be automatically given to parents weekly.
- The Administrator will follow up with a meeting with the Parent for one-week overdue fees on a regular basis until satisfactory.
- You may be eligible for 50% fee discount up to 2 weeks for annual leave during the Christmas period only. Conditions apply, see the Administrator.
- One Week notice is required for any change of enrolment days, hours, and sessions and signed, due to invoicing regulations. This is subject to spaces being available.
- Two weeks written notice is required upon withdrawing your child from the centre.
- A late pick up fee of $10 for every 15 minutes may be charged when parents are late collecting their child.
- You will be contacted from Debit Success directly for any missed payments.
- If you are receiving any discounts from Ako Adventures and your child is accepted for WINZ child care subsidy these discounts will be reversed from the date the subsidy is applied.
- If your child/ren’s account is not paid in full or negotiated between the parent/guardian and management regarding the outstanding fees our Direct Debit Agency has full authorisation to send the account information in question to their Debt Collection Agency and all costs of recovering the debt will be paid by the parent.
PROCESS:
If parent/guardian has ignored and /or reneged on the above information, the following Debt Collection – (section 9 in the contract agreement) process will begin.
