Whānau

We value whānau

Our Centre values our whānau as first teachers of their tamariki.

We promote parent partnerships as a way of enriching the learning journey for children, understanding that children do not exist in isolation, but as part of a family, a whānau, a cultural group, a community and we continue to support and further develop these connections and relationships.

Ako Adventures has many ways in which you can participate in your child’s learning journey, including opportunities to collaborate in the support of your child’s learning, to share your areas of expertise and knowledge, to help within the Centre and of course, to celebrate special events along with lots more!
