Ako Adventures is located in the heart of beautiful South Auckland.
Our purpose is to promote and support the achievement of tamariki within our local communities. At Ako Adventures, we believe learning should be an adventure and lots of fun. Our team will strive to support all young learners to grow and develop to be their best selves.
Our Educational programme is focused on supporting our tamariki to become:

We offer children environments that encourage a range of learning dispositions such as perseverance, curiosity, decision-making, problem solving, risk-taking, imagination with the support of qualified and registered teaching professionals to support them on their learning hikoi (journey). We work in partnership with families and with our local community to offer an educational programme that celebrates children’s strengths and interests, celebrates their achievements and supports them to see themselves as successful and lifelong learners.
Ako Adventures offers a beautifully designed and well-resourced learning environment for children, with the belief that the environment has a crucial role in the learning and development process.
Environments are thoughtfully set up to support children’s learning goals, to reflect each child’s uniqueness and cultural identity, and to ensure learning is made visible.
Ako Adventures offers meals Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Our Centre has a dedicated Nutritionist who prepares these meals for our children. We align our Ako Adventures menu with the recommendations from the Healthy Heart Foundation. Our menus cater for any dietary requirements and offer halal options.
Lunch Box days – We ask our parents to provide lunch for their children on Monday and Friday.
